I continue to ask myself why the persistence with 3d modelling? In particular as this is a narrow and distracting route which takes away from developing physical, tactile 2d and 3d works.
- Future. With the future finally getting closer to digital, immersive, virtual environments (VR was much talked about as the future when I was an undergraduate on the mid-late 90’s, 25 years ago, and still isn’t common place – much like growing up in the 80’s being surrounded by paperback books on colonising Mars by the year 2000 or the many other futurist predictions yet to materiales), as an artist it seems important to be able to create and sculpt within the digital 3 dimensional space. It would also be useful to be able to control the frameworks that define the digital space through programming but that appears to be an order of magnitude away in terms of commitment which would distort the balance of what is reasonable.

The ability to create sculptures (digital objects and spaces which exist within a digital environment, the ability to create photographs without a physical camera or subject into the seems to be a crucial to be able to ,
